The southernmost island in Greece’s Sporades archipelago is also its least-visited. Forget about claiming a chaise with a strategically placed towel: there are just twelve suites at this intimately sized resort, so there’s always more than enough room for everyone.

Back on the other side of the dunes, the hotel’s suites offer a similar level of space and privacy. Simply furnished in earth tones, all feature wood paneling and speckled tile flooring, linen sofas and hanging plants. Filled with natural light, they’re quietly luxurious, and each has a private outdoor space with a plunge pool. A number of suites are duplex-style, comfortably accommodating families or small groups, and all come with desirable extras like modern kitchenettes, outdoor dining spaces, or sea views.
