With its minimalist urban interiors, it’s hard to imagine that Casa do Conto was originally a private 19th century residence. The property has undergone a radical transformation to create just six guest rooms, which now feature industrial-style raw concrete walls, contemporary shades of gray and sleek stainless steel light fittings that contrast with the smattering of vintage furnishings and gilded gold antique mirrors.
