Built around a classic Tyrolean guesthouse from the early 19th century, today’s Adler Spa Resort Dolomiti is an expansive and very contemporary Alpine resort. Set in the heart of the village of Ortisei, in Val Gardena, it’s got easy access to the mountains via cable car and ski lift. And while the outdoors is the main attraction — various guided outings are available if you haven’t arrived with a plan — it’s the kind of hotel you could lose yourself in for a day or two, thanks to the impressive spa and wellness offerings, as well as the charmingly stylish rooms and suites and the hearty, flavorful cuisine on offer in the restaurant.
