Set on the Côte Vermeille just a few miles from the Spanish border, Collioure is French, but displays quite a bit of Catalan influence. Each of Maison Nova’s rooms is decorated with original works by Catalan artists, the impact of which is heightened by the interiors’ spare, modernist visual style. A few come with a private Jacuzzi or an outdoor bathtub, and all guests benefit from the hotel’s Phytomer spa, as well as its sauna, hammam, and dazzling outdoor pool. Breakfast is served daily, and light fare is available later; for a proper restaurant, you’re no more than half a kilometer from the center of Collioure.
