It doesn’t get much more picturesque than the view from Apollo AchtQuartier, overlooking the Alpine lakescape and the idyllic forests of the Salkammergut region. The hotel is set directly on Lake Mondsee, meaning guests have privileged access to the lakeshore beach (or the infinity pool, for even more decadent views). They’ve concentrated their efforts on just eight rooms, each decked out in subtly nautical décor ,with floor-to-ceiling windows, vertical shiplap, and mid-century-style furnishings.
