Bib Gourmand: good quality, good value cooking
It can be difficult to snag a table at this buzzy Korean fried chicken restaurant, but the effort is rewarded with a polished, high-energy experience. While there are a few à la carte options, the signature move is the “bucket” feast, which begins with a cup of chicken consommé and unfolds over multiple rounds of gluten-free fried chicken served with house sauces, crisp banchan and cold perilla seed noodles, before finishing with frozen-yogurt soft serve. It’s indulgent yet surprisingly clean-eating, never greasy or heavy. Champagne plays a starring role on the drinks list, with a broad range of bottles and by-the-glass pours. Stick to the bucket for solid value, though optional splurges like caviar-topped bites can push the bill higher.
