MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

Parkheuvel is the first Dutch restaurant to have been distinguished with three Michelin stars. Erik van Loo succeeded Cees Helder and upheld the restaurant’s reputation, continuing its rich history with two stars. This elegant pavilion in a park in Rotterdam with its beautiful view of the River Maas remains a gourmet destination.

Van Loo’s creativity has become a concept in itself. His cuisine is precise and refined, and he cooks with natural generosity. Signature dishes such as Bresse chicken with ravioli of langoustines are absolute musts for exploring his sophisticated style. The modern input from his son Juliën adds extra detail and diversity. At Parkheuvel, the tradition of top-quality gourmet cuisine is carried on with enthusiasm and passion.
