A delightful destination for a romantic weekend, this 19th-century pavilion is located in a park that was historically the garden of a monastery. Today, the building houses both a classically decorated country house hotel and this charming conservatory restaurant, where every table has a view out over the Præstø Fjord. The room has a calming feel, putting the focus on meticulously presented dishes which blend classical French techniques with a more restrained Nordic vision; you might find spring salad accompanied by lumpfish roe and butter sauce made using saffron.

We operate with a hyper-local sourcing model around Præstø Fjord, working closely with nearby farms, responsible fisheries and small-scale producers. We purchase whole animals to ensure full utilisation and our menus adapt daily to reduce waste, supported by fermentation and other preservation techniques. We continuously reduce energy and water consumption and have eliminated single-use plastics.
