MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View
A Grimaldi pizza oven immediately catches the eye as you enter this modern eatery, but, make no mistake, you are light years from your run-of-the-mill pizzeria. The Mona Lisa is helmed by two couples of Sicilian parentage, who are proud of their first-rate produce and of lovingly crafting old-fashioned Italian recipes. The pizzas are made entirely from premium ingredients, such as culaccia ham and Caseificio D’Elia mozzarella di bufala. The gutsy flavours of the ravioli explode in the mouth, underscored by a creamy burrata, while the signature chocolate dessert is deliciously balanced. We highly recommend the set menu with options.
