The charm of tranquil Zandoerle permeates this old farmhouse, where authenticity, Scandinavian design and a homely atmosphere meet. Owner Laura comes outside to give diners a warm welcome and, with her team, provides impeccable service. She draws on a wealth of experience and talent despite her young age (she also makes the delicious sweet treats served with the coffee!). The same goes for chef Chiel, whose dishes reflect that youthful playfulness. Although he draws primarily on French culinary tradition, the chef likes to add his own twist, serving dishes as a series of small plates. A dessert featuring an exotic composition of white chocolate cake, pineapple compote and a yuzu and ginger sauce demonstrates the kitchen's nuanced understanding of flavour. The palpable sense of ambition at Le Sable makes it all the more appealing.
