Inn at Perry Cabin
Guests are greeted by a mix of antique and contemporary furnishings, and though there’s an air of history about the Inn, the décor is contemporary, rather than an obsessive recreation of the early 1800s, thanks to a recent renovation by designer Alexandra Champlimaud. Some rooms open through French doors onto patios or decks, and bathrooms are spacious, in keeping with modern fashions, with oversized sinks and massive rain showers.
Modern facilities include an indoor pool, health club, and fitness center, as well as the Links at Perry Cabin, a Pete Dye–designed golf course, as well as a tennis complex by Cliff Drysdale — and there’s always the sailing academy, if you’d like to explore the waters of Chesapeake Bay.
How to get there:
The Inn at Perry Cabin is about a two-hour drive from both Baltimore-Washington International and Reagan National Airports. Easton Municipal Airport is 15 minutes away, providing regional air service.
