MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

You spot this inviting pink house near the flower - decked banks of Brunnwasser from afar. Inside, the restaurant area is bathed in light. The chef cooks food that is full of inventiveness, and gives pride of place to fish from Alsace’s rivers, as well as tasty vegetables from the family garden!

Two of us really enjoyed the Italian menu....perfectly executed mini Italian classics eg lasagne bolognaise and sophisticated Italian interpretations eg an amuse bouche of a large gnocchi with a pesto and pine nut centre finished with with Parma ham and grated Parmesan. In particular the desserts were of note .. They deserve a second Michelin star! Two suggestions - come hungry as there is lots of food and request a window table in advance.

Une fabuleuse expérience du début à la fin du repas avec une mention spéciale pour l'utilisation des fleurs et plantes comestibles et aromatiques et pour l'inventivité. Un service de qualité avec des conseils pour le mariage repas/vins impeccable.
