In-line with the inaugural launch of the MICHELIN Guide Taipei in March this year, Michelin launches the first-ever GastroMonth in Taipei this November. Happening from 1 to 30 November 2018, the event is where gourmands can expect delightful menus specially curated by close to 20 Michelin-starred or Plate restaurants in the MICHELIN Guide Taipei 2018.
The exciting line-up includes the only 3-Michelin-starred Cantonese restaurant in Taipei, Le Palais, 2-Michelin-starred Japanese favourite RyuGin and Chinese cuisine The Guest House, and 1-Michelin-starred Innovative restaurant Taïrroir. Besides the Michelin-starred restaurants, Plate restaurants such as Prime One Steakhouse, contemporary European restaurant JE Kitchen, and Japanese restaurants Kouma and Maru are also part of GastroMonth line-up.
The month-long event offers gourmands the opportunity to dine at these Michelin-listed restaurants, which are usually fully booked, and discover specially curated lunch or dinner menus exclusively available during GastroMonth.
Themed Re-interpreting Classics, these selected restaurants will pay homage to classic dishes by putting their own twist to it. Lunch menus range from NTD1,200 to NTD6,000 while dinner menus range from NTD1,880 to NTD6,600 per pax (excluding 10% service charge).
