The first chef to kick off our International Michelin Chef Showcase series, Chef Renaut will present a choice of two unforgettable menus: an 8-course lunch or a 10-course dinner made by harmonising premium ingredients flown in from France's Megève region with the freshest produce sourced locally.
Expect dishes like gnocchi of parsnip and red beetroot harvested from the garden as well as a salsify spaghetti lightly smoked with truffles from Alba in Italy. These will be served with a top notch selection of wines hand-picked by Robert Parker Wine Advocate’s esteemed team of global wine critics.
Limited seats for October 25 & 26 are still available at S$280++ (lunch) and SG$480++ (dinner), inclusive of alcohol. Early bird prices of S$240++ (lunch) and SG$450++ (dinner) ends on October 10 2016.
Ticket sales start from September 22 2016
Generous, lively, colourful, appealing and modern – those are just some words used to describe Chef Emmanuel Renaut’s food. Sourcing only from the best food producers around the world, and makes it a point to meet all of his suppliers in person - from artisan distillers to fishermen and cheese mongers - in order to parlay their produce into intricate dishes that reveal the ingredients' best qualities.
In 1998, Chef Renaut founded Flocons de Sel (“Flakes of Salt”) within a hotel offering spectacular views over the mountains that surround the alpine ski resort of Megève. The restaurant went on to win three Michelin stars in 2014.
Today, Chef Renaut is committed to promoting preserving its singular culinary heritage of the Megève and Upper Savoy regions in France.
As Pierre Margara, an artist living in Megève’s, describes: "His cuisine is full of fragrance, and yet delicate at the same time. It is akin to our mountains: gentle waves, followed, in a divine twist, by infinite peaks".
The International Michelin Chef Showcase is a biennial event that brings top chefs to local restaurants so diners here get to experience some of the world’s best cuisines without having to travel. It is organised as part of the partnership between Robert Parker Wine Advocate and Michelin, and marries the most coveted wines with sumptuous food.
