A cosy space with a delightfully quaint feel and all the hallmarks of a bistro: wooden shelves where bottles of good wine (Côtes d'Auxerre des Goiko, Saumur-Champigny Les Roches) and a few old Michelin Guides are displayed! At the helm here now is Italian chef Flavio Lucarini, who has already clocked up experience at Giovanni Passerini and Le Gabriel. His is a punchy and distinctive cuisine d'auteur, into which he deftly weaves the acidity of fruit and vegetables fermented on site. For dessert, his tomato tarte fine with vanilla and whisky gelato is on the money.
