This small contemporary bistro located between Bastille and République is run by a talented duo plus a savvy Italian chef, Eugenio Anfuso. Excellent focaccia, sweet artichoke cream, goat's milk, mint; cod, peas, watercress, vin jaune; rhubarb, aniseed, rice pudding: well-defined and astute marriages of flavours – it ticks all the boxes, including a remarkably good-value lunchtime offering.
