A chatty young team serve you at this narrow, pleasantly cluttered bistro, which is decorated with local artists’ work and has a charmingly homespun feel that easily endears you to the place. The well-priced tasting menu – available in long or short form – offers interesting textures and bold flavours, including the occasional hint at the chef’s Scottish-Caribbean heritage.
