Malix's free-roaming menu incorporates Mexican cuisine as well as global influences in items like pâté with madeleines and pickles; a selection of local cheeses; and house-made Lao-style sausage. There is a respect for sustainable gastronomy, as the menu highlights a long list of local producers. The grilled duck breast is a worthwhile recommendation, presented with crisped skin, wedges of figs and beets, plated with a house mole, and accompanied by a stack of excellent tortillas.
