Lily Aldridge’s Orlando – Starry Cuisine, Poolside Perks, and Elevated Acrobatics

The model, philanthropist, and mom of two breaks down how to do the Florida city for grown-ups.

Orlando is synonymous with Disneyworld; the fantastical playground for kids of all ages. However, it's also home to some of the nation's most refined gastronomy and lavish hospitality. That's why we asked supermodel, philanthropist, and entrepreneur Lily Aldridge to break down where she goes in the "happiest place on Earth." A Disney regular, Aldridge has two kids with husband Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill, and often seen sporting Mickey Mouse ears and a megawatt smile, the model finds Orlando equal parts exhilarating and elevated. From taking in the amazing acrobatics of Cirque du Soleil to the incredible bites from Chef Malyna Si of Capa, Aldridge decodes where to go and what to get in the Sunshine State. Plus make sure to check out her top tips on when to go and what not to miss.

Below, discover how to do Disney for grown-ups and make your own magical moments ahead.

The Four Seasons Resort Orlando is one of my favorite hotels in the world. The rooms are GORGEOUS and the service is beyond. I love having two MICHELIN rated restaurants in the hotel, plus the very family friendly and fun pool dining. The pool and splash pad are so much fun we plan a pool day on our vacations the explore the lazy river, splash pad, water slides and multiple pools! It's truly exceptional in every way!

Drawn to Life presented by Cirque du Soleil and Disney is such a wonderful show if you are in Orlando. I love Cirque du Soleil and think it’s a core memory experience for people of all ages.

[One MICHELIN Star] Capa at the Four Seasons is the perfect place to have a date night and indulge in delicious tapas. Another perk is that you can step onto the rooftop patio for a nightcap and watch the magical Disney fireworks!

There’s nothing quite like walking into [One MICHELIN Star] Victoria & Albert’s for the first time. It's luxury dining at its finest. I love having a reason to dress up for dinner and you get the full experience of fine dining within Disney’s Grand Floridian hotel. The food is as beautiful as it is delicious and one of my favorite things is the harp player playing nostalgic songs while enjoying this incredible meal.

Ravello is one of my favorite places the relax after a long day at the parks. The food is comforting and yummy. Ive spent many an evening enjoying a glass of red wine while taking in the ambiance on the patio. It's also one of the BEST character dining experiences on certain mornings! A must do if traveling with kids!
