Few figures in fashion are known by one name, but Carine, as in Roitfeld, is one of these beings. The Parisian-born former Editor of VOGUE Paris (now rebranded as VOGUE France) has cut her teeth in the fashion industry for decades, but is always challenging convention and bringing her unique, glamorous, and sexy appeal to a myriad of products and projects. CR Fashion Book, Roitfeld's bi-annual glossy most recently featured Beyoncé on their latest issue, their 24th. Her eponymous fragrance and home collections continue to sell-out in droves, while her books—Irreverent, The Little Black Jacket (co-authored with Karl Lagerfeld), and Fantasies—pepper only the chicest libraries and coffee tables. Below, the iconic Roitfeld divulges where she goes in Paris to shop, eat, and take in the atmosphere.
