The One-Key hotels

Capella Taipei

Songshan District, Taiwan

Positioned as a “modern mansion,” Capella Taipei reimagines hospitality with the warmth of a private home and the refinement of a luxury hotel. The celebrated designer André Fu has crafted 86 guest rooms that frame panoramic views of the city and nearby hills, while the six terrace suites — each featuring its own deck, lap pool and jacuzzi overlooking the skyline — stand out as some of Taipei’s most coveted stays. The hotel’s programming is guided by a resident “culturist,” who tailors experiences to each guest’s interests. Options range from local breakfast and intimate tea ceremonies to explorations of Taipei’s neighborhoods, offering an insider’s lens on the city.

Hoshinoya Guguan

Taichung City, Taiwan

Tucked in Taichung’s Xueshan mountains, Hoshinoya Guguan is more than a hot spring retreat — it seeks to create experiences that lift guests out of their ordinary lives. At first sight, visitors are greeted by verdant scenery, with mountains and rivers surrounding the property. Nature is intentionally woven into the design: century-old pines, meandering water gardens and sweeping valley views form a serene stage for escape. Like a Japanese ryokan, Hoshinoya Guguan has both public baths and in-room private ones.  Meals are presented in kaiseki style, with multiple courses all meticulously composed.
