Housed in one of the best hotels in the city, this elegant yet informal all-day bistro has become one of Zagreb’s most popular meeting places and is ideal for a simple snack and aperitif, as well as a full meal. The menu features meat, fish and plenty of vegetables, with a focus on local ingredients and the occasional French influence. Make sure you try the iconic Esplanade Štrukli, pasta filled with cheese and cooked au gratin, a house speciality since 1951. An excellent selection of wines by the glass completes the picture.
