MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View
The Mandemaker has a lot of trumps up its sleeve, such as its terrace on the inner harbour, cheerful flowers, the winning combination of hip design and a cosy atmosphere, as well as the guestrooms. Excellent seasonal produce, with a focus on fish, is beautifully showcased in contemporary creations such as pickled mackerel with crispy asparagus and lime leaf cream. Fans of classics like fried sole are also catered for with appropriate generosity.
