Castle Hill Inn
It spreads out over forty acres of land along a private beach, overlooking the picturesque waters of the bay. The bedrooms in the 19th-century main house are the most atmospheric, but the outlying beach houses and cottages are scarcely less stylish, with a bit more space thrown in in the bargain. Beautiful. Remote, rocky coast location away from the newport madness. 15 minute drive into town off season. Great restaurant on site; ate there two bights in a row. Great bar. Friendly and accomidating staff. Did I sa friendly ad accomidaiong staff. Just wated to make sure you got that!!!!
This hotel was evertying it promised to be - a relaxing bed and breakfast getaway in a fantastic location. The views of the harbor from the grounds were spectacular and relaxing. There was a lighthouse and you could see Newport harbor. It was also very close to the mansion clif walk. Not sure if it was because I booked through Tablet or I just got lucky, but I was told at check-in that I had been upgraded to one of the best rooms. Great!
