Polanco has accrued quite a bit of cultural capital over the decades, initially as a hub for Mexico City’s intelligentsia, then as a frontier for boutique development, and increasingly these days as a hunting ground for club-hoppers and paparazzi. Work desks with bucket seats nod to the upscale business functionality the Oscar’s demographic will doubtless expect, while smart TVs and in-room espresso machines foster a ready-to-work ambience from the minute you wake. Grab an upper-tier room for a furnished balcony and French tub to fully round the experience out.

Public spaces call the archetypical members’ club to mind: handsomely appointed and sumptuously outfitted, with original artwork gracing the walls, they clearly signify the “inner sanctum” aesthetic.
