Perhaps more tranquil in its beauty than its jaw-dropping sister at Jabal Akhdar, the second Alila hotel in Oman, Alila Hinu Bay, is spectacular all the same. The architecture is a stunning marriage of contemporary design and Arabic tradition, and the seaside setting is blessed with temperate weather, by local standards. All the Alila signatures are here, from the lavish spa to the stylish rooms and villas, the latter supplied with plunge pools and outdoor baths. There’s plenty to see and do in the surrounding area, and the hotel’s restaurants and lounge serve a variety of European, Asian, and Middle Eastern dishes.
