Its 21 rooms were conceived by fashion insiders, people like Christian Louboutin, Chloë Sevigny, and Olivier Zahm, and though they’re full of classic modernist design furniture there’s nothing off-the-rack about them. The feeling is one of being taken in by a host with exquisite good taste, and if you know Tablet, you know that’s high praise indeed. Some rooms face the citadel, others the sea, and from the terrace, through the trees, you can see the bay of St. Tropez. Meanwhile, inside, there’s a splendidly atmospheric Thai restaurant called Le TIGrr.
