It’s surrounded by 15 acres of gardens and parkland, and in its current incarnation contains 33 luxurious rooms and suites, all of which are set within the original château, and combine a historically correct authenticity with just a touch of contemporary interior design. The restaurant crafts a new modern French menu every fortnight from impeccably sourced local produce; the château’s old billiards room now serves as the hotel’s cocktail bar.
