The down sides of Cancún — in short, that it’s crowded, tacky, and overbuilt — don’t seem to apply when you’re within the expansive perimeter of this luxe 173-room resort. Rooms and suites are spacious and stylish, without a hint of tropical kitsch, and they’re exceedingly well furnished, easily the equal of any urban luxury hotel.
