The counter seats are a uniform white, creating a sense of presence, and the sight of cooking right in front of you is reassuring. Amid the sounds and aromas of stir-frying in woks, the chef sometimes makes conversation with guests while plating their meals. Based on Shanghai cuisine, the dishes are set in front of you as soon as they are cooked. The restaurant’s name was chosen for the chef’s grandmother’s favourite flower. This is food created with loving thoughts of Grandma.
