The sheer range of local sakes on offer can make choosing hard. Start with an appetiser and decoratively arranged sashimi with your first cup. The drinking snacks are varied too, from tofu preserved in miso and stew of beef tendon to Western items such as sweetfish confit and milt meunière. With such an array of appetisers, the sake slips down easily.
