We all need a little luxury in our lives and this beautiful restaurant in the heart of Carton House, an impressive Palladian mansion among manicured grounds, ticks all the boxes. The breathtaking room features a high curved ceiling, Greek Corinthian columns, ornate plaster cornicing and sweeping banquettes, while the menu showcases fine Irish produce in well-judged and original combinations with a confident classical base. Dishes like veal sweetbreads with cep vinaigrette and black garlic match their surroundings with a luxurious edge.
