On the fringes of Luang Prabang, resort architect Bill Bensley created something totally unique. The Rosewood Luang Prabang features luxury tents alongside its rooms, suites, and villas, all designed in a historically informed French-Lao hybrid style, and supplied with all the luxury-hotel essentials as well as an extensive array of authentic cultural experiences. Its footprint is somewhat smaller than a typical high-end resort, but it still finds space for a swimming pool and an exquisite little spa; the Great House restaurant and the Elephant Bridge bar complete the fantasy.
