Shamwari Private Game Reserve’s various lodges are all impressively different, even as they share the same wildlife-filled landscape of South Africa’s Eastern Cape. And while they’re all luxurious, by any definition, Shamwari Sarili might be the most extravagant of them all: though it’s got five bedrooms, it’s a single unified villa, to be occupied in its entirety by parties of up to ten. As such it comes with its own staff, including a house manager, a private chef, and its own ranger, as well as a pool and a deck overlooking the Bushman’s River. It’s as close to a truly private safari as most of us are likely to get.
