(Temporarily closed) “Ita” is the affectionate nickname by which grandmother Isabel was known by those that knew her, and through it chef Mariela Fernández pays her own small tribute to her personal memories and to family recipes. In this small restaurant in the Salamanca district, the hallmarks are simplicity and honesty, visible via a concise à la carte that changes with the seasons and which features a predominance of locally sourced organic vegetables, plus a few meat or fish options.
