The storied neighborhood of Montparnasse is home to the Hôtel Cabane, a boutique hotel with a pastoral vibe, a laid-back modernist sensibility, and a back-to-nature ethos, in spite of its urban setting. The Classic and Superior rooms are cozy but comfortable, decked out in rich colors and crisp, utilitarian furniture, and making the most of their natural light. The Cabane, or cabin, is a particular delight, set behind the main building at the end of an elevated walkway — it’s a properly self-contained cabin with a bit of a treehouse atmosphere, and is quite a bit more luxurious than its indoor counterparts.
