Grace Hotel Santorini, Auberge Resorts Collection
Most every hotel on the island is high up a cliffside, but Grace is high; the hotel cascades down a steep terraced hillside, and don’t tell the beach hotels, but the sea looks better from up here anyway. The view is, of course, the main attraction, and the infinity pool is nothing short of sublime.
Then again the interiors aren’t exactly rough either. The basic rooms are generously sized, most of them with plunge pools, and once you’re in a junior suite you’ve added a private terrace as well. From there it’s onward and upward, culminating in the Villa, a two-bedroom residence that’s practically a self-contained boutique mini-hotel unto itself.
The restaurant, bar, fitness center and treatment room complete the picture. In essence it’s designed to be the sort of place where you’re self-sufficient for any length of time. Of course this is by no means mandatory — the town of Imerovigli is not without charm, and the hotel is happy to arrange seafaring or even aerial tours of the island and its surroundings.
Please note: Grace Hotel Santorini is a seasonal property open April through October, and does not allow children under the age of 14. A three night minimum is also required.
How to get there:

Location and the view, and the service
Everything. The view and location was mind-bending. Service was beyond beyond (from manager to housekeep era). Pool ridiculous. Other guests interesting. Food inspired. Simply the best experience EVER.
Absolute bliss! This was the last stop on our honeymoon through Europe and what a way to finish! From the moment you arrive at this hotel you continually blow your mind with just how good the vistas, the food and the service is! We lived it up in a Honeymoon suite right on the end of the hotel with a picture perfect view of the Caldera and the stunning sunsets! From the start of the day this place is fully five star, with a full changing breakfast daily that includes 5 courses and constant top ups of champagne to succulent room service and dinner location that will see you staring into to the deep blue ocean and beyond. The room we had was lovely with a heated plunge pool out the front which got used more than once per day and a nice bathroom and plenty of room in the lounge room for in room dining or relaxing. The rooms are modern and include great beauty products that are constantly refreshed. As stated this place is all class and in my opinion owns the best location on the island in terms of sitting back, popping a bottle of champagne and taking in the vistas... Absolutely awesome! Enjoy
