Pool was nice. Dinner was good.
THE VIEW! This charming place on the side of the little old hilltop village Montelparo has great rooms, very personal service, and wonderful food and drinks. But the best piece is the view - just sitting there at the terrace (or the also great pool) and looking over hills and hills of beautiful Italian landscape is intoxicating. Montelparo is quite a bit inland but at sunrise you see the sea at the horizon turn golden in the mornings! When looking for a boutique retreat to relax way off the beaten path this is our new favourite.
Madeline and Tim and the staff have done a wonderful job of making guests feel really comfortable in this corner of Italy that is much less travelled: but worth travelling to.
