It’s not every day something so luxurious and, well, monumental opens on Crete; the advent of the Nana Princess certainly qualifies as a big deal. And while certain concessions are made to tradition — rough-hewn stone walls abound, for example — the overwhelming impression is one of gleaming, modern opulence, from the massive, futuristic spa complex to the orderly rows of suites and villas cascading down towards the beach.
The resort’s terraced structure means most everyone’s got a view out to sea, and your neighbor’s green roof means you’re looking out over a little garden. The majority of them have plunge pools and terraces as well, while the bedrooms and bathrooms are as modern as can be, complete with contemporary furniture, thoughtful gadgets like Nespresso machines and Bluetooth sound systems, and beautiful onyx-clad bathrooms with chromotherapy lighting.
