Atlanta’s historic Old Fourth Ward is more of a culinary hotspot than a place to stay the night; most of the city’s luxury hotels are located in Downtown or Midtown. A notable exception, the hip Forth Hotel, is a creation of the same team that converted the nearby Ponce City Market from an old Sears building into a vibrant food hall.
The hotel’s strikingly geometric glass and concrete facade gives away two key facts: the design by Morris Adjmi Architects is thoroughly modern, and every room has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city park below. Inside, the aesthetic mixes minimalist and romantic with bold floral wallpaper, dark wood furnishings, and sleek bathrooms stocked with Le Labo products. Terrace suites have spacious private patios, some with outdoor fireplaces, and larger apartment-style suites feature multiple bedrooms and smartly equipped kitchens.
Other highlights include a gorgeous outdoor pool on the fourth floor, a state-of-the-art spa and fitness center, and a lively rooftop bar with sunset views unmatched in Atlanta.
