For over six centuries, Palazzo Gattini — overlooking the square of the majestic Cathedral — served as the residence of one of the city’s oldest and most prestigious families, as illustrated by the impressive family tree displayed inside. A careful restoration has preserved its historic charm while giving it new life: today, Palazzo Gattini is an elegant and welcoming hotel offering a type of hospitality quite different from the cave dwellings typical of the Sassi.
