The villas themselves are based on traditional Indonesian construction, though they take more than a few cues from the contemporary luxury-villa idiom as well. Getting a private villa with a pool and a mountain view in the jungle, what else could be better? This place is worth the visit. I'm so glad I stayed here instead of in nearby Yogyakarta. The bathroom in my villa was fantastic. They provided ear plugs, so you can easily sleep through the early calls to prayer (there is quite an echo in the valley).
