From within its contemporary, minimalist rooms, the lake is the main attraction, thanks to perfectly framed views from floor-to-ceiling windows. There’s a fine-dining restaurant that makes liberal use of hyperlocal ingredients, and despite the feeling of seclusion, Atra Doftana is just an hour and a half from Bucharest.
