A few miles inland from the north Corsican port town of Saint-Florent is an 18th-century farmhouse that’s found new life as a luxurious small hotel, whose rooms, suites, and villas combine rough-hewn rustic charm with classic elegance and contemporary comforts. La Dimora counts among its attractions a heated pool, a small spa and hammam, and a substantial expanse of gardens and grounds, offering a degree of tranquility that would be difficult to match in mainland France. The villas enjoy their own private pools, and all guests benefit from the presence of the Pera Bianca restaurant, set in the farm’s old stone sheepfolds.
