The Kimpton hotels may have been born in California, but it’s hard to think of a more perfect fit for their blend of approachable style and warm friendliness than Nashville, Tennessee. The Kimpton Aertson is set in Midtown, close to Vanderbilt University and to the city’s famed Music Row, but there are plenty of reasons to stay in: not just the elegant modernist-inspired rooms and suites but also the Woodhouse Spa and the hotel’s social focus, Henley, a modern American brasserie serving inventive Southern-inspired cuisine with a light French accent, alongside seasonal hand-crafted cocktails.
