Within ski-in/ski-out distance of the slopes of Courchevel 1650 is a boutique hotel that defies just about all of the ski-hotel stylistic trends. Fahrenheit Seven is as cozy as any alpine chalet, but decorated in something of a Seventies Parisian style, with saturated colors, late-modernist furniture, and retro touches like rotary phones. Comforts, of course, are contemporary, from the lavish bathrooms with heated towel racks to the Marshall bluetooth sound systems. Among the public spaces are the Rotisserie restaurant and the Zinc bar, and if you’ve exhausted Courchevel 1650’s charms, the cable cars to Courchevel 1850 and the Trois Vallées are close at hand.
