Set on Tinker Street, the town of Woodstock’s main drag, Twin Gables is a 19th-century gem — but beyond its well-preserved façade with its eponymous gables, it’s no nostalgia act. Instead it’s filled with bold colors and graphic art, no two spaces the same, and none of them quite like anything you’ve ever seen. “Boutique bed and breakfast” pretty well sums up the vibe, as well as the services, and a word to the wise: if a private bathroom is on your wish list, book early, especially for weekends, as they’re the rooms that generally go first.
