Babylonstoren

Set in the Franschhoek wine country, Babylonstoren is a celebration of food and agriculture: a working farm, a kitchen garden, a farm-to-fork restaurant, and, obviously, a small luxury hotel, complete with an impressive little spa. Accommodations include several rooms in the original farmhouse, as well as a collection of freestanding cottages and a pair of self-contained houses that sleep up to ten. The style is eclectic, personal, and eminently tasteful; in addition to the Babel restaurant there’s the Garden, for a picnic-style lunch, and the Bakery, serving bread by day and unique dinners by night.
