Sitting around 2,200 meters high in Austria’s Ötztal Alps, Hotel Riml is perfectly positioned for guests to either ski out directly onto the slopes, or take in the fantastic Alpine views with as cocktail in hand from the large outdoor terrace, or one of the poolside indoor sun loungers. You can’t go wrong, in other words. The spa also comes with a heated outdoor pool with more panoramic vistas, as well as a number of saunas and wellness treatments. There’s even a massive indoor golf facility — one of Europe’s largest, in fact. The restaurant is complemented by three bars, where the specialty to try is the homemade Swiss stone pine schnapps. Rooms put a contemporary twist on alpine style with blonde wood, clean lines and an understandable focus on the majestic mountain backdrop through a wall of windows.
