Young, irreverent and a bit rock 'n' roll… that’s how Maalot likes to define itself. Once you arrive on the lively and bustling Via delle Murate, you can’t miss it: find the Don Pasquale restaurant (named in homage to Donizetti who stayed in the building) and enter this way. The rooms and common areas are arranged around the beautiful hall covered by a glass dome of the restaurant, which becomes a kind of meeting and exchange square. The vibrant and lively atmosphere is reflected in the eclectic, vaguely art deco interiors and furnishings: from the portrait of Marilyn in 18th-century attire in the ground floor lounge to the bold colors of the rooms… here, nothing is whispered! In the spirit of Paul Young’s song ‘Wherever I Lay My Hat (That’s My Home)’, the theme of the hat recurs in various shapes and forms. For a bit of physical activity, the gym awaits in the basement (a luxury in a boutique hotel of the city center). Alternatively, you are just a few steps away from the Trevi Fountain and the Vittoriano.
